It’s not every day that a burly, hairy-chested man dons a pink tutu for the world to see.  Then again, it’s not every day that you find out your wife has breast cancer.

That’s how The Tutu Project™ began in 2003: as a lark, an accident, a happy retreat in the face of confusion and fear.

In September 2017, Seymour Pink was once again honored to receive a grant from The TUTU Project.

Because of their support for what we do, Seymour Pink was able to help Gretchen and her family pay their mortgage.  Below is a thank you card we recently received from Gretchen and her family.

To all those at Seymour Pink,

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year full of blessings!  We thank you so very much for your amazingly generous gift!  We couldn’t thank you enough for all of your support and financial assistance.  You have helped ease some of our financial burdens so we are able to relax and enjoy our time together with our family.  You are an incredible blessing and we thank you so very much.  God bless you and your families!

With much Gratitude,

Gretchen P.

The Tutu Project™ mission is to raise funds for women, men, and their families to ease the financial burdens that come with breast cancer diagnoses.

To do this, they provide partnership opportunities to esteemed breast cancer non-profit organizations who share our vision for an empowered breast cancer community…. Like Seymour Pink!

And just like Seymour PinkThe Tutu Project is more than a place for financial support, it’s a hub for community engagement, emotional healing, education, resources, and venting on life’s frustrations.  Whether you’re having a good morning or a bad afternoon, whether you’re in the fog of chemo brain or enjoying clarity of vision, every single person in The Tutu Project’s network is here to connect, listen, and help.
