Registration for the 6th Annual Pounding the Pavement for Pink will open sometime in July 2017. There will be NO SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS.

As in past years, Seymour Pink will be recognizing and encouraging the formation of teams. The support, encouragement enthusiasm and excitement teams bring to a 5K are immeasurable. Form a team of friends, families, co workers and experience the 5K in heightened level of participation. Team registration packets are available by contacting Mary Deming at 203-668-3170 or through e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline to start a team is September 1st.
Stop by the Breast Cancer Survivor Tent and pick up a special gift for you and some breakfast. The Survivior Tent will be open from 8:00 am until 10:15am. RSVP on your race entry form.
T-shirts: The first 1800 participants that register will receive the official 2016 PTPFP T-shirt as well as number bibs with timing chips. If you are a TEAM CAPTAIN, you must pick up your entire team’s package.
The following age groups are for both females and males: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.

Limited parking will be available in downtown Seymour. In order to help the town with the flow of traffic, drop-offs and carpooling are encouraged.
Shuttles, donated by All Star Transportation, will run from Seymour High School and Bungay School to the Seymour Community Center. Shuttles will run from 7 am 8:20 am and then from the end of the race (approximately 10:15 til 11:15 am).
The shuttle will STOP at 8:20 am. They will NOT run during the race time. If you are not on that 8:20am shuttle, you will not be able to get to the race by shuttle as the roads will close to allow for the 5K to run!
7:00 am – Bib number and T-shirt pick up. Sponsor tents open for race participants and spectators. Team Village also opens for teams to assemble.
8:00am – Survivor Tent opens
8:00am to 10:15am – Survivor Breakfast
8:15am – Kid’s Race
8:30am – Warm-up with Peak Fitness
8:45am – Honor Guard and National Anthem
9:00am – 5k run/walk
10:30am – Awards and Closing Ceremony
On the day of the race, we will be selling raffle tickets for a very special item. Our 5th Anniversary SEYMOUR PINK quilt handmade by Natalie Moir the VP of SEYMOUR PINK…wait until you see it, tickets are $5 each.
